2021 is Finally Here!

“Your intention rules your life and determines the outcome.” – Oprah Winfrey

It’s my first day back on deck after a three-week break and I’m thinking about my intentions for 2021.

If you’re doing some of the same while winding up your holiday vibe and cranking up your work mojo, then here are five-ish questions to ask yourself that will help you frame up your thinking:

1. What do I want to feel more of in my daily life? What do I want to build, create or nurture?

2. Why do I want this? (Your intention will have more momentum if you understand the reason behind it.)

3. Who do I need to be to achieve this? (Identify the mindsets, beliefs, attitude, emotional state of being you need to amplify to achieve this.)

4. Who’s in my corner? (Enlist the help of a partner-in-crime to offer support, encouragement and honest feedback.)

5. How will I make this happen? (Start by mapping out small, measurable steps and incorporating them into your daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly habits.)

BTW no need to super-size your intentions. Give yourself permission to start with intending to become a better cook or regular reader or public transport user. Nailing some of the little stuff will give you confidence to tackle some of the big stuff…like becoming a folder of fitted sheets.

2021 is finally here! Let’s go get it!
