Happy Valentine’s Day to ME!

“How you love yourself is how you teach others to love you.” Wise words from young Indian – Canadian poet Rupi Kaur

Valentine’s Day isn’t for everyone however it can be for YOU. As in heaping some love on yourself so you can be at your best. I do this by practicing self-care.

This looks differently for everyone. My bare minimum is exercise (preferably outdoors although sometimes I must adapt, eh Gabrielle?), enough sleep and good, real food. Add meditation, reading and a tidy work and home environment and I’m on fire 🔥 ❤️ .

Other things that really light my fire include a walk on the beach or in the bush, catching up with friends and making progress on a crefty project – lately it’s all about needlepointing.

Learning this about myself has made me more loveable- to me (essential) and others (bonus!).

What will you do today to show yourself some love?
