In 2024 I’m going to be a POSITIVE CHALLENGER

Words of the Year, resolutions, goals, hopes and dreams.  It’s the stuff Januarys are made of.

So I thought I’d jump on board (literally!) with mine which was inspired by this cargo ship (vehicle carrier, actually) I spotted yesterday in Auckland’s Harbour.  Its name sums it up for me…
In 2024 I’m going to be a POSITIVE CHALLENGER.
What this means for me is still unfolding, however it feels like something I want to do for myself and the people I get to work with.  Intention will be key with being a Positive Challenger.  This is a roll-your-sleeves-up, sitting alongside with compassion and doing the hard graft sort of gig.  Not stepping on a soapbox pointing out stuff that others ‘should’ be doing.
Here are some ways I’m planning on being a Positive Challenger:
– Continue crafting and facilitating workshops and programmes that create real dialogue and build stronger alignment
– Push myself physically by working on improving my strength, balance and flexibility
– Expand my coaching skills by learning and applying new techniques that challenge positively
– Apply a positive challenge to leaders at the most senior levels within organisations to role model the behaviours and values that will help their people to thrive
– Positively challenge myself to tackle my To-Be-Read non-fiction pile.  There are some gems in there waiting to be discovered and applied.
Wanna join me?  There’s room for more than one in this movement. How can you be a Positive Challenger in 2024?
